Dear CPVA,
I’m very grateful for the Social Events Reimbursement Program. It gives me an incentive to get out and see an Angels game. My family took me to the game on June 15, 2010. It was Angels fedora hat night. The bad news was the Angels lost to the Brewers (7-1).
I’m a big Angels fan. I’ve been going to games all my life including the last 20 years in a wheelchair. The accessibility of the stadium has improved over the years. However, I still have some cons.

Here’s a list of my pros and cons.

PROS:
The stadium is accessible
The ushers are helpful
The ushers are also good at stopping the crowd from encroaching upon the handicap areas.

CONS:
You can’t order tickets on line.

You have to call Ticket master.
Ticket master fees suck. Plus you’ll never know if you’re getting 2 open seats or 2 attendants seats.
Seats are set up for 1 wheelchair and I attendant. Any others in your group won’t be able to sit with you. All wheelchair seats are on the Terrace level. There is no cheap seats.
Sitting tucked under the stadium on the Terrace level, You lose the track of all fly balls. Plus the concession stand noises take away from the true sounds of the game.
With all that said, I still enjoy getting out to the stadium to watch the Angels.

Thank you.
